1. Create a web site using Dreamweaver or Notepad (you may use any text editor).
   
   
2. Your site should include the following elements:
   
   
   • relevant content (text and graphics)
   • a link with your email address on the home page
   • a consistent navigation system linking to all pages within the site
   • a link to an external website (perhaps alternate resources on the topic)
   • images (make sure you reference them if you have taken them from somewhere and they are not your own original images)
   • use of a table(s) (to show tabular data)
   • use of an external stylesheet that provides the layout and visual formatting of the site
   • min of 5 pages (if you are working with another person than  I want to see 10 to 12 pages)
   • the site can be on any topic you wish (within reason)
     
     
3. Apply the design issues discussed in class related to color and layout (still have to cover)
   
   
4. Your site will be marked based on the following:
   • all links and images work
   • coding validates to XHTML strict (still have to cover)
   • content
   • all requirements are met
   • design, layout and organization
   • originality
     
     
5. The site must be your own work.
   
   
6. If the site is extensive enough you may work in groups of 2. I will require a detailed outline of who did what on the project and a portion of your mark will be based on that. Please talk to me before hand if you plan to work in a group.
   
   
7. Zip all files related to this project and submit to the dropbox by March 18th, 11:00 pm

   There are labs in the college with Dreamweaver installed if your 30 day trial runs out beforehand.
